Wondering if his beloved MyTouch 4G would ever get an upgrade to Android 2.3, a reader of TmoNews‘ contacted HTC to pull the answer from deep within. The representative he spoke with initially confirmed that the device would be getting Gingerbread in Q2, but that wasn’t good enough for him – he demanded reassurance.
After asking the rep to confirm this is true, they responded back saying it came straight from HTC’s Taiwanese headquarters. Sounds pretty good to me, but you know the routine – we’ll believe it when we see it.
Good for them
Just run CM7 now! :-)
Did that last night on my EVO, wow! Is all I can say.
That sounds good. I wonder if the mysense will be upgraded as well.
I was running CM7 but I like a lot of the Sense stuff, not all of it, but some. I went back to stock, but the battery life is terrible compared with CM7.
i call bs, the my touch series of phones take forever to update
@seal
Hey at least all of the mytouchs are on 2.2
bets phone EVERRRRRRRRRRR
Wooo hoooooo! Now if only they would fix my lock button……. What does quarter 2 translate to?
you know I have the same issue with the lock button, sometimes it doesn’t work beside that I love it.
are you rooted and overclocked?
If you divide the year into 4 quarters, then
Q1: Jan, Feb, March
Q2: April, May, June
Q3: July, Aug, Sept
Q4: Oct, Nov, Dec
Whats the point… it wouldn’t have NFC support
Outlook syncing please!!!
