Droid Pro Presale coming Nov. 9th, Launching the 18th; Galaxy Tab Dummy Unit, Continuum Accessories Arrive

A round of Verizon news for you this evening. First up, Android Central’s received a tip that the Motorola Droid Pro will be available for pre-sale starting November 9th and will go on until the 17th. Two days after that – the 19th – will be its official launch date. (Folks who pre-order it will receive it ahead of the in-store launch starting November 10th and 11th.) No pricing to be had yet, still, but we don’t expect there to be any surprises.

The Samsung Continuum and the Samsung Galaxy Tab also seems to be headed our way soon. The first dummy units for the Galaxy Tab have been spotted in the while, and the Continuum’s accessories are also sitting out and about. Still no announcement for the latter, but I don’t think Verizon’s going to be holding a parade for it. Or will they? [Droid-Life]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Lots of people buying this device?????

  2. Im interested in one but want to see one first. Alot of business users are going to be interested.

  3. Yeah i don’t think as many people as they think will buy it

  4. I will be getting one. So much for steve (the biggest whiner on the planet) jobs who said 7″ tablets are DOA. Samsung just said they will sell one million units this year. Droid X ftw.

  5. What the hell does iconic mean?

And I have zero interest in the Droid Pro.

  6. Where is the Verizon version of the EVO?! The brushed aluminum phone with a super sweet camera??? I am not interested in the Droid Pro, I have an upgrade this month, and I wanted Verizon to release a better phone, not a gigantic brick with keys. GIVE ME THE NEW EVO! That is all…

  7. You may not Fred…but you got to look at it this way: everyone is not Fred…

  8. I have just played with one of these in my local o2 store.

The browsing experience is better and rotating photos is instant, I just could not believe how fast rotation is. However I just don’t get the whole tablet thing.
