OK, so the beginning of the 2000s hasn’t exactly been the spitting image of what Sci-Fi fiction of the previous century imagined (2015 is fast approaching and still no hoverboards), but it’s not for lack of trying. For an example, take a look at this laser-projected HUD that would find a home in your car. Linked up to Android it projects driving directions directly onto your windshield allowing a perfect view of the road while still keeping your next turn in view. Pioneer wants to get the technology to market by 2012, most likely as an after-market option. Pretty darn cool.

Cant wait for HUDs to become as common as aftermarket car stereos.
I want something like the night rider (2008) hud.
Where’s apple at now?
