Motorola Shows You How to Get the Most Out of That New Droid 2

As most other big launches go, Motorola’s prefaced (the videos were uploaded on the day the phone was announced) today’s availability of the Droid 2 with a series of videos showing how to use certain features of the phone. If you’re familiar with Android, these will seem elementary to you, but if you’re new to our beloved operating system, you’ll want to follow along. They also highlight some of their custom widgets and apps so be sure to watch anyway as I’m positive many Droid 2 owners won’t be familiar with Motorola’s new custom UI. 1. Xperia X10 comes with HiDef tutorial videos preloaded on SD card.

  2. The X10 comes with no Multitouch, no Froyo, etc… But you’re right; I’d rather have the HD tutorials instead too.

  3. Maybe we’ll get a video soon showing us 2.2 on the X since they shouldn’t have to make a big production or a bunch of excuses about why 2.2 hasn’t been pushed yet. :/

If they want to eFuse the X then push the damn upgrade already. ;)

  4. I’m actually at a Verizon store and testing it out. Not bad whatsoever! :D The keyboard is very workable and actually functional on the Droid 2. Impressed!

  5. Did not show how to load roms, so it seems like they missed out on the getting the most out of your phone.
