Motorola’s steadily launching new phones quietly in other parts of the world. Today, the Motorola Glam XT800 has been announced forKorea and it’s not a bad looking device (specs-wise, anyway). It comes with an FWVGA (480×854 that Motorola loves) touchscreen display, DLNA, GPS, HDMI-out, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 5-megapixel camera, 512MB of ROM, 256MB of RAM, and a 550MHz processor (TI OMAP-based).
This phone teeters between being mid-range (processor and RAM) and high-end (screen resolution, camera, HDMI) and would be a worthy replacement for anyone coming from a dumbphone to a smartphone (or for a smartphone user new to Android). The device is launching with Android 2.1 and has MOTOBLUR on top of that.
We first heard about this device back in April as it was being dubbed the Titanium, but that could’ve just been a codename for all we know. All that matters is this device isn’t half bad and I’m sure your pocket will be glad to welcome it.

2.1 is so old, why not 2.2
Why does this comes with 2.1 w/Motoblur, yet the Cliq and Cliq XT can’t get the upgrade?
The Glam….what a crappy name choice. It should come with a wig and makeup.
it has 720MHz, not 550MHz
