T-Mobile and Motorola’s latest Android device – the Motorola Charm – has slowly found its way onto the scene in what could quickly turn out to be a bigger deal than one might initially perceive. According to a Back to School poster spotted by a TmoNews reader, the device will be offered free alongside some of T-Mobile’s newer Samsung offerings.
While Samsung’s sliding form factors may identify with more people than the Charm’s Blackberry-esque exposed keyboard, T-Mobile could really capture a lot of feature phone faithful and help them step over the line to the greener pastures of being (low-end) smartphone users.
I hope they advertise the apps of android instead of just being messenger phones. Apps on android are much better than on Blackberry

A free android phone? Every Chatty Cathy in the country will get this!
“With the new Motoblur, users will be able to change the size of their home screen “widgets,” the Facebook and Twitter widgets will get upgraded functionality, and there will be seven different home screens to cycle through.

The Charm will also fully support Android 2.1.”

Ugh, I hate tiny phones with portrait qwerty keyboards :S!
The Motorola Charm is the ugliest phone i’ve seen since the Microsoft Kin. How can a company that made the Droid, Droid X, and Droid 2 go so wrong?!
