Way back in February ZTE announced a line up of five Android devices to be released this year. We’re not sure whether to count the ZTE X850 as the second, however. With a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, 2.8-inch 320×240 resolution screen, and a 3.2MP camera, this thing may just be conjuring up memories of the ZTE Link released in France last May. Well, that’s because it is for all intents and purposes the same phone, barring one welcome change. Instead of Android 1.6 the latest ZTE handset will sport Android 2.1. The phone and its WCDMA radio are headed to China Unicom where it should retails for right around $173.
are we going to get a new mid-range android phone to verizon that does NOT have a keyboard? with out the eris, there is not one left… this would not be half bad.
@Colin
The Droid Incredible is that phone now… if they ever get it in stock.
And I know what I said sort of sounds rediculous, but it is at least partly true.
