TCL might have made a name for themselves selling phones, but the company also sells other products like smart TVs and sound bars. One of the advantages they have over the competition is that they tend to sell them at more affordable prices. So if you’re looking for a new home theater system, TCL has you covered as they have announced their 2024 lineup of smart TVs and sound bars.
TCL Q & S Class Smart TVs
TCL is expanding their Q and S Class series of smart TVs. The new lineup will consist of models ranging from as small as 32-inches, while going up to a whopping 115-inches.
The main difference between the lineup is that the Q Class TVs will use Quantum Dot imaging technology. TCL claims that this will produce more lifelike images, better color accuracy and brightness, and the larger models even come with a higher refresh rate of 120Hz. This means that if you want, you can actually use these TCL TVs to create a home theater setup that can also be used for gaming.
As for the S Class series of smart TVs, these are designed to be more affordable alternatives. They don’t use the same display tech as the Q Class series, but you can expect features like Direct LED Backlight with Dynamic Contrast, built-in support for Google Assistant, support for HDR PRO+, HDR10+, and more.
The TCL Q Class TVs will be priced starting at $499.99 for the Q65 43-inch model, and will go up to $26,999.99 for the QM89 115-inch model. The TCL S Class will be priced starting at a slightly more affordable $349.99 for the 43-inch model. They are available for purchase from supporting TCL retailers.
TCL Q & S Class Sound Bars
In addition to the new TCL Q & S Class of smart TVs, the company has also unveiled new sound bars. This includes the tCL Q Class Sound Bar that comes with support for Dolby Atmos sound. There are different models that you can choose from, with some models offer 5.1.2 sound, and others offering 7.1.4 sound. They also come with up-firing Atmos speakers for floor to ceiling sound, along with the use of Ray-Danz acoustic wave-guide reflectors that the company claims offers a super wide soundstage.
As for the TCL S Class sound bars, they also come with support for Dolby Atmos. TCL has updated the S Class speakers with some features that were previously only available in the Q Class, such as Auto Room Calibration. There is support for DTS Virtual:X Virtual 3D Surround, Bluetooth connectivity, and more.
The TCL Q Class Sound Bars are priced starting at $899.99 while the S Class Sound Bars will retail starting at $179.99.
