New images show off the Sony Xperia XZ Premium in red

0

Back at MWC 2017, Sony unveiled its latest flagship, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium. The device was only made available in some rather boring colors, coming in black, chrome, and pink. However, a new leak suggests that we are nearing the release of a new red variant of the XZ Premium.

A series of images have been leaked which show off a red Xperia XZ Premium in various angles. According to the leak from PlayfulDroid, the red device will likely only launch in Japan, but there’s an off-chance that we could see a more global launch.

Regardless, Sony has already stated its plans to put more of a focus on its flagships, and the Xperia XZ Premium is leading the way. The device features a 5.5-inch 4K display while being powered by the Snapdragon 835, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.

Let us know whether you would like to see the Xperia XZ Premium re-released with a red variant and if you would pick one up for yourself if it was made available here in the States.
