MOD: Add the Pixel’s nav bar animations to your Nexus 6P or 5X

Those who own the Nexus 6P or Nexus 5X have been able to use the Google Assistant for some time now. While having a conversation with your phone is nice, the experience on the Pixel phones is slightly better since the devices feature a custom navigation bar animations which appear when you press the Home button to go back to the home screen or press and hold the Home button to activate Google Assistant. Fortunately, the nav bar animation has now been ported to the two 2015 Nexus devices.

Charles Chow has created a flashable package which can be applied to the Nexus 6P or Nexus 5X through TWRP recovery. If you want to do things manually, the SystemUI.apk can be installed using any root file manager as well.
