OnePlus releases OxygenOS 3.5.5 Open Beta 6 for OnePlus 3

OnePlus has posted a new beta build of its open beta for OxygenOS, this time bringing the version number up to 3.5.5. There are several improvements outlined in this update, including a newly redesigned phone calling UI to make viewing the entire call history of contacts easier.

  • Added OnePlus FileDash functionality for convenient file transfers
  • Added ability to switch launcher layouts
  • Integration of Google Map to share locational information in messages.
  • Redesign of the phone calling UI
  • Added personalized ringtone information in contact details
  • Added ability to view the entire call history of the selected contact
  • Introduction of the OnePlus Community App
  • Increased system stability
  • General bug fixes

OnePlus 3 customers already on a previous open build beta will receive this new update via an OTA update. Those who haven’t joined the beta program will have to flash the build through ABD sideload. Once this build of the open beta is flashed to the phone, you’ll receive future builds via OTA update.
