Lenovo has another 8-inch tablet in the pipeline for release

It’s been over a month since we’ve seen any rumblings as to Lenovo working on a tablet, but the rumor mill is picking up again after the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus has been leaked. The device features an 8-inch Full-HD display, 3GB of RAM, and 3 different storage combinations, complete with microSD card support.

Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus leaked Specs:

  • 8-inch full HD(1920x1200p) display
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 16GB/32Gb/64GB of internal storage
  • Micro SD card support
  • Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor
  • 8MP main camera with LED flash
  • 5MP front camera
  • 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth

Looking at these press images, it appears that the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is a bit thicker than other tablets available on the market, which may deter some potential buyers. However, Lenovo has a track record of providing decent Android tablets to users in a market that isn’t highly saturated.

It’s not yet known when Lenovo is planning to unveil this tablet for everyone, but with the holiday season looming, it’s safe to assume we’ll see this sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, pricing for the Tab3 8 Plus wasn’t leaked, but when looking at the current Lenovo Tab3 8 (priced at $110), you can expect the Tab3 8 Plus to be priced around $200 or so.
