As the weather gets a little cooler you can stay inside and play games on your phone. Suddenly Autumn doesn’t sound so bad, does it? Check out our list of the best games you may have missed from the last month.

New Android Games

Animation Throwdown

Animation Throwdown is a card-collecting game featuring all of your favorite animated characters from Fox. You’ll find cards from Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, Futurama, King of the Hill, and more. Collect cards and then battle against others to collect more. Create new combos as you fight your way through goofy characters.

Banner Saga 2

This is the sequel to the award-winning indie RPG. Lead your Viking clans across hostile country on the brink of collapse. Make bold leadership decisions, manage resources wisely, and strike skillfully in battle to survive another day in the harsh wild.

Bulb Boy

Bulb Boy is a “point & click horror adventure” about a boy with a glowing head. Solve puzzles, defeat wicked monsters, and reveal the boy’s abilities to unfold a twisted tale. Don’t forget to save your Grandpa and dog from the frightening darkness. The gloomy design and music make this game spooky.

Dog Sled Saga

Dog Sled Saga is a racing game that puts you in control of a team of huskies. Each dog’s speed is determined by its hunger level. You have to lob food to the dog while racing to keep the hunger levels in check. The sled can only hold so much food, which means you have to use it wisely to get the most out of your team.

Don’t Starve

This is the Android version of the popular PC game with the same name. You play as Wilson, an intrepid Gentleman Scientist who has been trapped and transported to a mysterious wilderness world. You must learn to exploit his environment and its inhabitants if he ever hopes to escape and find his way back home.

It’s been a while since a good game came out for the Chromecast. Heist is a board game that can be streamed to your TV. You and your friends can team up and compete to reveal game cards. The idea is to uncover your team’s cards before the other teams can.

Hotlap Heroes

Hotlap Heroes is a top-down racing game for Android TV. The cool thing about it is you can play with multiple people without needing physical controllers. The controller app allows up to 8 people to race at the same time. There are five different circuits and new tracks being added regularly.

LEGO Harry Potter

Continue the saga of Harry Potter in this spell-binding and quirky adventure for wizards and muggles alike. Experience Harry’s last years at Hogwarts and battle Voldemort in the ultimate fight between good and evil. The creative LEGO® prowess unites with the expansive world of Harry Potter™ to deliver an exciting and rewarding gameplay experience.

Looty Dungeon

Looty Dungeon is a game from the same people that made Crossy Road and Rooms of Doom. You are running through endless dungeons and you must outwit, outrun, and slay your enemies to keep moving. Each dungeon comes with a wide assortment of enemies and obstacles.

In Monolithic you are tasked with building a tower with impossible shapes. It’s sort of like a 3D version of Tetris with physics. You can rotate the shapes to fit perfectly, but make sure you have a sturdy base to build upon. One bad move and your tower is in jeopardy.

One More Jump

One More Jump is an arcade-style platformer. The one-touch controls mean all you have to do is touch to jump. Your character is constantly moving, which doesn’t give you a lot of time to react. Over 70 hand-crafted levels will keep you jumping for a long time.

Orbt is from the maker of Bing Bong, Righty Tighty, and Bit Blaster. All you have to do is touch the screen to stop your planet from being sucked into a black hole. That sounds really easy, but there are other dangerous obstacles to avoid. The goal is to make your planet survive as long as possible and earn points.

Randal’s Monday

Randal’s Monday is a beautifully designed adventure game featuring a storyline full of humor. It’s a crazy space-time odyssey in classic adventure design, spiced up with countless geek culture references. You will have to test your skills to overcome some of the obstacles, but the effort will be worth it.

Sorcery! 4

The 4th installment of the Sorcery! series is an open-world adventure that takes place in a cursed world of monsters and magic. Fight weird creatures, cast powerful spells that shape the story, cheat death, and explore everywhere.
