Microsoft and their partner retailers have put up a  nice discount on the Microsoft Band 2. It’s $50 off, taking it down to $199.99 before taxes. We’re not sure if this is a limited time deal or a permanent price reduction, so if you’ve been eyeing one then you’ll want to buy it soon just in case it rises again.

Microsoft might be the last company you’d expect to launch a platform-agnostic fitness band, but the Microsoft Band 2 is actually quite nice and has enough in its kit to take on the big boys like Fitbit. The newest version features a refined design that utilizes a curved AMOLED display for a more comfortable fit. It also has a barometer, for those who were missing that particular sensor for their needs.

If you want to grab one of these you have your pick of Amazon, Best Buy or Microsoft themselves. Be sure not to lollygag on it too long, else you’ll run the risk of missing out.
