ASUS has revealed a new affordable 10-inch MeMO Pad tablet for light pockets. It comes with the model number ME103K, and provides specs that should be ample enough for a decent Android tablet experience. Inside is a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset clocked at 1.5GHz, as well as 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 1280 x 800 resolution, a 5 megapixel rear camera, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, WiFi N with Miracast and will be loaded up with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. You can also expect a very comfortable 9.5 hours of battery life.

The targeted price tag for the thing is about $200, with a comparable option from Samsung costing a whopping $80 more. That sound like a deal to you? Unfortunately we don’t know when to expect its arrival, but we should be seeing it launch before the year expires.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Why not 2gb of ram?

    1. They skimped on everything else to keep this cheap, why wouldn’t they skimp on RAM too?

  2. Sounds like a 10inch nexus 7

  3. 2GB of ram, 16 rom, and 1080p would have made it a no brainer.
