This monstrosity is the JCB Toughphone Pro-Smart, and it’s now on sale in the UK. Technically the company’s first smartphone offering (they did apply their name to a rebranded Motorola Defy+ previously), the Pro-Smart features an 800MHz processor, 3.2-inch display, and runs Android 2.3. It’s an IP67 rated device designed to be waterproof, dustproof, and otherwise oblivious to the elements. The Toughphone Pro-Smart is available through Clove for £310 after VAT.

Why?
Lol, who would buy this? Screen smaller than iPhone, old os with probably no chance of updates and 800mhz single core
I think that’s pretty obvious, no? It’s being sold under the JCB brand, that’s a clue. It’s not supposed to rival the SGS2 and making a phone this reinforced with top specs would result in something too expensive for anyone to actually buy.
More garbage
JCB Toughphone; The tough phone with the weak specs!
These guys should’ve put their R&D efforts into building “IP67-rated” shells for phones people will actually use.
A device for real men..keep um comin
