Google Updates Image Search for Tablet with ‘Carousel’ View

6

Google has tweaked the code for their image search when accessed by a tablet. Search results are now displayed as larger image files in a carousel view, accessed by tapping on an image result and swiping left or right to navigate to surrounding entries. Images load as you scroll, eliminating the need to navigate through pages and pages of results to find the one you are looking for.

No special update is needed to access the new version of image search. Simply access the site from your tablet’s browser. It work for both Android devices and the iPad.

  5. I can’t tell if this is an apple ad or a google ad. the black rectangular tablet with straight edges, the white background and goofy music, the employee trying to explain something… is google so fully copying everybody that they have no identity anymore? it used to be nerd identity, but the galaxy nexus presentation showed they killed that when they hired an artist to design a computer.

  6. This feature requires the UAString to be in Android and not Desktop when using your device.
