Canada Gets a Taste of Honeycomb: Motorola XOOM Wi-FI Available Now

The Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi featuring Android 3.0 Honeycomb is now available in Canada, or was available I should say. The device had been up for pre-order at Best Buy and Future Shop with a $599 price tag and it looks like the initial shipment has already sold out. Word is only 580 Xoom tablets were available for today’s launch, but new shipments should be expected soon. The tablet is set launch soon on carrier Telus, as well.

  1. Will hopefully come home to one today but with only 580, it’s like winning the lotto.
Sad, I here about so many not selling over on the US side of the border.

  2. I picked up two :)

  3. It’s hard to justify the purchase knowing better tablets are coming very soon at a better price i.e. the Asus Transformer at $399.
