Motorola Atrix 4G System Dump Now Available

11

The Motorola Atrix 4G is still a few days away from release, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get an up close and personal look at the software contents of the handset. The Atrix 4G’s system dump just came online last night giving us a look at what sort of goodies we can expect to come nestled on the phone’s memory. Interestingly, the Olympus codename can still be found scattered throughout the contents.

You can find the whole thing over at AndroidForums, and reading through the thread will bring you to ringtones, wallpapers, and the boot animation if you are interested in grabbing any of those goods for yourself. Here’s a look at the boot animation picked up and running on a Samsung Captivate:

Not the flashiest of start up animations, but they had me at dual core. Check it all out via the source link below.

  3. Out of curiosity, not because I lost my mind and planned on going to AT&T for a locked down (albeit a cool) phone – how fast does the Atrix itself boot? I was pretty impressed with the TBolt’s ~10 second boot. Even with no widgets loaded, etc. that was pretty impressive. I wanted to see how fast the Atrix with its new hardware and dual core is on boot up times.

  4. To me boot up time doesn’t matter…. If you root your phone and apply the correct file system, it’ll boot as fast as you want it. But honestly, this phone seems to boot as fast if not absolutely faster than other phone. My dumb phone booted pretty fast but the Atix is much faster.

  5. This footage was sped up, no?

  6. Will this work on rooted vibrant?

  7. If you get this phone be prepared to pay $40 for 2GB data. If you preorder the phone it won’t let you get the $25 2GB of data. What a rip off!!!

  8. i’m going to agree blur is decent now that it doesn’t hog up so many resources. you can pretty much turn off/remove most of the blur widgets. i really wish htc has a similar phone in terms of hardware. i really dig the sense UI

  9. @John, strange I was able to preorder with the regular $25 2GB plan. Others reported they were able to upgrade and select “Don’t Change my Data Plan” allowing them to keep unlimited data without any issues.

  10. that all? i prefer the red eye of my original droid.

  11. The links aren’t working :'(
