The HTC Hero is looking pretty spiffy and at this point we’re hoping it gets announced ASAP, along with the 18-20 other Android Phones coming this year. A report by MobileToday suggests that the HTC Hero will launch in the United States in August with no carrier specified but when it launches in the UK, Orange will be the exclusive carrier.

The HTC Hero will be Orange’s first Android Phone, following on the heels of the HTC Dream/G1 and HTC Magic which were exclusives by T-Mobile and Vodafone respectively. The phone is rumored to have a 3MP camera, HSDPA connectivity and Bluetooth 2.0 among other treats.
