TWRP – the exciting recovery project that would transformer the way we backup, restore and flash ROMs – is making great progress. In fact, version 2.0 is now available for download! For now, only a few select devices are supported including the Nexus S, the HP Touchpad and the Kindle Fire but we’re sure the team is working to add even more devices over time. Pretty soon your volume rocker will be screaming with joy as it’s freed from its lifelong duties of handling your raging addiction to custom ROMs. [TeamWin via Engadget]
It’s available for the Epic Tough 4G, but is experiencing some problems, so read carefully!

Nice! I am totally going to try this on my Nexus S.
I Tried It Yesterday, No Offense To The Developers I Like The Concept But It Wasn’t Great :
I have it on my kindle and it’s sweet, if you want it I recommend reading re-reading re re-reading the instructions and comments before starting
It’s difficult to pronounce TWRP, they should rename it to TWiRP.
I installed it on my Viewsonic G Tablet, and now I can’t get into recovery – it just hangs. At least I can still boot my tablet into the OS.
@Quentyn TWRP – the exciting recovery project that would ***transformer*** the way we backup. I think we know what you want for the holidays, kind of a Fruedian slip? lol I have an eee pad and want the new one too.
Pretty cool idea, I’m a flash addict and I get so tired of the volume rocker menu navigating, the worst part is selecting a rom on a SD card that is full to the brim, though then again I know the menus of CWM so well that I barely have to look at the menus lol.
