Lenovo Also Bringing a 5 Inch Device

7

Following rumors that Lenovo would be bringing a 10.1 inch tablet under the LePad brand, it appears a 5 inch tablet is in the works. It, too, will be marketed under the LePad brand in China and the IdeaTab brand elsewhere. There was no word on whether or not this device would be a phone+tablet hybrid despite the speaker-looking thing up at the top near the front-facing camera. The device has microUSB and micro HDMI as well, but no other specs can be confirmed. We’d imagine a dual-core processor of some sort will sit inside but we can’t say for sure. 1. Samsung already has a start on a give inch tablet with their player 5″. I’m posting with it,I use it as a tablet more than I do mp3 player.

  2. When respected industry players like Lenovo make multiple formats on the Android platform, you know the OS is truly ubiquitous.

  3. And let the “it’s too big for a phone”comments commence!

    1. 5 INCHES!!!!  Thats way too big! Electronically speaking of coarse.

  5. 5 inches is not a tablet. fail

  6. I think 5 inch is to small for a tablet. I mean look at the phones out now with screen sizes close to an some exceeding that. I get a tablet for the larger screen not a half inch larger than my phone.
