The LG Optimus LTE has been making the rounds, most recently becoming official on Bell in Canada, and it appears AT&T will share the same fate. Only with a different name. The LG Nitro HD as it’s rumored to be named, will feature the same hardware specs as the Optimus LTE but enjoy a rebranding before it lands on stateside shelves.
The Nitro HD has a pretty impressive spec sheet consisting of a 4.5-inch HD screen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, and a 1830 mAh battery to keep the show on the road. It will most likely be stuck with Gingerbread, but then so will pretty much every Android phone besides the Galaxy Nexus prior to the 1st Quarter of 2012. And I’d guess late first quarter.
Either way, if this launches in time for the holiday season it will be a great option for AT&T customers and if you’re one of them, let us know: did the LG Nitro HD just get added on your wishlist?

Hells yeah it did. I was gonna grab the GS2 but this is worth the wait in my eyes I’m siked.
Hope that this iteration of an LG beast phone will be a much better debut than what the G2X was.
Saem thoughts
i wouldnt buy an lg phone even if they paid me to use it
Then you’re a moron.
While it may have great specs I don’t trust the quality of lg phones. They have quite a ways to go before I’d consider buying one. I have a vivid now and love it but I guess everything is worth a look.
Quality as in what….they are build better then any Samsung device out there.
Resolution ?
1280×720
Why why 4.5? Android will be mainly for guys and the iPhone for chicks.
You guys do realize ROM is Read Only Memory, right? I’m pretty sure there’s not 4 gigs set aside for the BIOS.
Also, LG makes trash phones. Even Motorola makes better handsets. And I’m saying that from experience. Got my LG G2x and finally discovered what buyer’s remorse was.
