A Genius over at the Boy Report has caught wind of a rumored HTC Android Phone said to be announced in February (MWC) and launched in April. I dont believe anything BGR reports as a rumor.
BGR ARE NOTHING BUY IPHONE FANS they stop talking bought TECH all they care for now is iphone
Yeah that was the most shocking part of this article. I didn’t know that BGR even knew Android existed. Maybe they think this is iPhone lawsuit fodder.
Did the iPhone hurt you?
This sounds like a midrange phone for 2012. Only a qHD screen?
I keep reading that as the HTC Vile…

I know there are limited things you can do with a handset design but HTC seems to have stopped innovating entirely.
I Have an HTC myself, have to agree. They were leading the hardware war and seem to have stopped innovating about 6-8 months ago.
They’re falling in the Blackberry trap. They think that just because they got one design “right” and a lot of people loved it (back then), now it means that all they have to do is keep improving that design incrementally, and make it “better and better”. But they are wrong. People want phones to have different designs. Even if they got one right, they shouldn’t keep using that same one for the next 10 years.
Sounds like HTC and Apple have more in common than they no
+1, I’m curious when innovative hardware will surface as well. I think we get hints at it with the Galaxy Nexus and it’s button-less design, but even that is not much.
What do you want then? A cube? A sphere? A triangle? A pentagram? A hologram? A space ship?
I’ll take the hologram!
When will you apply and get a job at HTC so you can change that?
u mad bro ?
Not impressed
it seems super amoled is the new manufacturer’s benchmark
Well darker blacks than an LCD, and less battery consumption….Supposedly.
And it is suppose to be under 8mm thick. Confused why they are not using a 720p screen and why they refuse to put decent batteries in their phones. I use to really like HTC but now they just irritate me.
Yawn…..just ANOTHER android device to be released. 2 weeks after HTC releases this another version will be out.
Doesn’t Sense not make as much sense with ICS?
1650mAh battery?
HTC u just don’t get it!
This would be a nice phone TODAY, but in 5 months?
If true, because BGR are nothing but idiots, I see HSPA+ hopefully its a Tmobile flavor and not ATT
One of the 289 phones that HTC is going to release next year Yay!
I was hoping ICS would kill custom skins. Please stop it, OEMs. Or at least give us the option to disable/delete it. I see no reason why they can’t at least give us the option.
Buy Galaxy Nexus. Problem solved.
Well, no shit, Jr. I plan to ;-).
Quad-core or it didn’t happen.
Seems like HTC saves their good designs for T-Mobile.
Look at the Verizon phones: usually good specs, but plasticy build, and kind of boring.
Sprint and AT&T as well. The Evo and Inspire are the same way.
Then think about the T-Mobile phones. The MyTouch 4G, G2, Sensation, Amaze, they’re all built a lot better than the rest of the phones they give to other wireless providers.
Just what I’ve noticed.
Their going to release it on T-Mobile then release a little different style for Sprint…hopefully not. I want a quad core. I already have a dual core. And HTC sense on honeycomb will probably be like honeycomb on HTC tablets. Be similar to the stock but have different colors and HTC apps. Which I love. I Don’t know but for my next phone I defiantly want nfc and a quad core.
Why are people ALWAYS complaining about the design. Every phone company looks the same. Except HTC which changes it up. And Motorola behind them. (Kinda of) all of their phones are thin, black and have a fat area at the top lol.
this is an OBVIOUS fake/render…there is no speaker or camera…are you people really so easily fooled?
