By Hey, guys! Feeling a bit bummed out that your phone doesn’t have some of those cool camera features found on other devices? One camera feature I know I’ve been feenin’ for was a panorama shot on my Evo 3D. You know, like that one Sony commercial featuring Taylor Swift where she captures that whole crowd of fans in one shot? (crickets).
Anyway, a friend of mine was nice enough to send me this app he got from XDA and since it worked so great on my Evo 3D, I figured I would share it with you all here. The app was made specifically for the Sony Ericsson X10 but someone was able to grab it from a system dump and port it to other devices. Like I said before, it’s working great on my Evo 3D and I know it should work for a handful of other devices so give it shot!
Installation Instructions:
- Make sure “Unknown Sources” is enabled in your phone’s Settings>Applications before starting.
- Download the app from my personal file sharing account: [Download Panorama App Here]
- Once downloaded, click on the app from your notification bar and you will be prompted to install (if you cleared your notification bar, you can always find the app in your Browser’s downloads).
- Once installed open up the app and enjoy! I know I have!

Thanks Chris! Works great on my captivate, no luck with the transformer though couldn’t save the photos. I’ll mess around with it a little more and see if I can get it to save correctly.

Crashes consistently on Droid X2. No FC, just closes when you start panning.
I know on the droid x they already have a panorama app built into the camera…Its in the camera settings i am pretty sure that the x2 would have it also

Installs fine, opens fine, seems to work fine….but it doesn’t!
Pan’s just like it says, but then gives “can’t save image…” error.

Thanks Chris! Actually having X10 I didn’t know this app existed. I was able to install straight from the Market, and it works AMAZING!!! None of my pics will be in regular format again.
Not working on my Atrix… pick direction and when I hit the camera button it makes a cool noise and goes to home screen.
Between these pics and his video clips, I think Chris is quickly edging out Cam from todaysiphone as my #1 phoneblog man-crush.
Gives me a green monster pic – no worky CM7 EVO 4G. Will reinstall see if it changes anything, really want some panorama!

Thanks a billion. i was extremely disappointed when I realised that my fancy HTC sensation 4G did not have this inbuilt in its camera.(unless I am missing something). but thanks to this app now I am able to use it on my HTC sensation 4G
