  1. Hey there, when I subscribe to the podcast through Google’s Listen I can only listen to the first 6 episodes.. 7 & 8 are m.I.a…

  2. I can’t even find it on Listen … :(

  3. Holy Crap that was SO LONG. I’ve got to say it would be a lot easier to listen to if it was 20-25 minutes. I think you can cover the important points in that time too…

  4. If you have a solution to the Google Listen problem… or for those having an issue with RSS/iTunes, I’m all ears. I tried to track down the issue and I’m just not sure what needs to be done.

@Andrew – sorry dude we were talking and one thing just kind of leads to another. Maybe we could have mini-sodes where we talk about 1 topic for 10 minutes or so. But hey… we’re still working on making this a lasting and consistent thing so cut us some slack hehe

  5. @Rob Jackson. Love to hear ya chat. Your doing just fine. Just keep doing what your doing.

  6. Very long and tedious.

  7. Well, about the hero rom. Yes it was laggy on the G1 but not since about 3 weeks ago since the XDA community got a hold of the optimized rom from HTC and had it ported to G1’s. I can have all the screens loaded with all the widgets and it runs just fine with the exception of heavy applications such as (the browser when running flash). Sometimes when exiting the browser you might get your occasional HTC screen because the home screens and widgets where probably pushed out of ram and have to be reloaded. But its is honestly running almost as fast as the stock firmware. I cannot really imagine it being to laggy on the Hero if we are running it on the under powered G1. About your G1 slowing down it might be because a lot of applications sitting in RAM and they randomly probably update and continue to run in the backgrounds without your knowledge and are causing an overall slow down. Some apps continuously reactivate and take up your RAM. You should use a task manager like Advanced Task Manager which will help you recognize which apps are on even though you didn’t utilize them. One example of these apps is the Google Voice app. It seems to bog down my phone and make it sluggish so I removed it to keep my phone optimized.
I liked the podcast… Great job guys!

  8. Rob, you coming to Greece? Cool, need help? let me know :P
