Samsung’s officially set to release the Samsung Galaxy S Plus in Russia despite a forthcoming Galaxy S II. If you don’t remember, this was a slightly more beefy version of the Galaxy S. The choice of processor is interesting – a 1.4GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset sits inside with an Adreno 205 GPU. We’re not sure why Samsung decided to skip out on their own Hummingbird chipset, but it’s their prerogative. Other notable features include Bluetooth 3.0, a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 8GB of internal storage and Android 2.3. You can find it for 21,9990 rubles ($781) inside Russian stores this May. in the source link, they say 2.3. it is a typo
no led flash for the camera ….
LEDs are not needed in Russia. Chernobyl has turned the lights on in Russia for the next 3 million years permanently, give or take a few thousand years.
Chernobyl is in Ukraine, by the way.
At that time it wasn’t the Ukraine….dumbass
Only partially recognized as it’s own country, so move along child.

Wow
What’s up with Russia and Samsung’s phones?
When the Nexus S came out, we heard that Russia would get a special version with an LCD instead of the curved AMOLED.
Something to do with IP and licensing issues for Samsung?
