Yes……….already running it on my EVO….Next up CM7 with that gingerbread…..
Any word on HTC INC?
Everytime I flash this Rom I get stuck @ the bootloader and have to restart my phone…I’m too far in Zenonia to risk losing it! What do I do I want this Rom! Using unrevoked and unrevoked forever on Evo
And still they only develop for htc what about everyone else cyanogen??
Any 4G wimax functionality for the EVO?
Actually they develop for phones who do no lock their devices and cause issues that makes their lives hell. Its not just for HTC phones. Check your sources.
As far as I know, they actually only develop for phones that they can develop. For everyone else, why don’t you volunteer some time over there.
I’m trying to get it ported to my Galaxy S Captivate, which is probably my favorite phone. Ever.
damn these guys work hard :) I wish they’d take a break and save the energy to put CM7 with Gingebread as soon as it comes out .
Stop crying and buy an htc device…. they are the best at building a stable device for the android platform.. all other devices are sub par or terrible.. yeah thats you samsung… you suck… htc should be making the nexus II
They dont know HOW to make it work on the SGS line dude. its been 6 months. they gave up
They also do it for a number of Moto phones.
@erkme
the wimax should be done soon along with full hdmi which is already done, just needs 2 b added in.
I have it on my Droid 1.
Cyanogen 6.1.1 made the news yet the Virtuous 0.8 that was released last night did not make the news???
.
So what’s with the 6.1.1 that 6.1 did not have? BTW, virtuous 0.8 was an overhaul of 0.7.4 .. yet people dont know about it.
.
I smell fish.
is there a way to do these updates without completely wiping my phone and starting over?
If you are already running cyanogen, you can flash over the top of it. Just wipe cache and dalvik. No need to wipe data.
CM is <3
Is 4g connectivity working on this? I heard there were issues with cyanogenmod and “4g”.
6.1.2 on my droid.
I’m on CM 6.1.2 somehow on my Droid 1, but I can’t find any info about it.
Jeetu, I’ve never heard of virtuoso…interested in looking into it.

Virtuous ROM for G2 has way more function than the CM.
.
.
Virtuous pros:
->Updating is a breeze.. I love how just the patches work except for the 0.8 that requires wipe.
->I think there is more camera/video function on the virtuous.
->I love the hidden top taskbar.. multitasking is made easy.
->Built in Titanium back up
->Built in QuickOffice
->Did I say.. DLNA?
…—- You can output your pictures, videos and music to your TV.. how cool is that.
->When you hold and press power button, it gives you so many power related choices.
->Built in, SMS, MMS widget
->Register to HTC sense and when your phone is stolen, you can locate it.
->Much better car panel.
->I love the wheel like GUI when you adjust time/alarm… it is so much easier.
->’Clock’ , has many functions.. Timer/Stop watch/world Clock….
->The clock + weather widget.. your screen rains/clouds/etc depending on the weather.
->Flip the phone while ringing and it will silent it.. very good function during meetings.
->I think it rings louder when it is inside your pocket.
->It has it’s own navigation app.. It downloaded something on my first use… I think that’s the local map loaded in your phone. You could probably still use navigation without data connection.
->FM radio.
->Supports 1.51 OC
->Swype
-> Still quick and very responsive
.
.
CM Pros
->I have been using it for a long time.
Can someone point me at a page that can tell me:
1) Advantages of doing this on a t-mobile mytouch 3g slide
2) Any disadvantages
3) How-to …
Thanks. My gf wants this phone; we use t-mob; but it’s no good to us at all unless she gets wifi calling out of it.
