Moto G Stylus 2023 Spotted on Geekbench

Last month, a digital render of Motorola’s upcoming Moto G Stylus (2023) handset surfaced online, showcasing the phone’s external design. It looks like we may be getting closer and closer to a formal release date, as the phone has been recently spotted over at Geekbench.

In terms of benchmark scores, the phone managed to total 348 in the single-point score, and 1329 in the multi-core score. The Geekbench entry also confirms that the phone will ship with 4GB of RAM and Android 13 once it launches for retail. No specific internal hardware details were mentioned however, but it’s highly expected that the phone will come with a 50-megapixel main camera. Of course, it will pack a built-in stylus (hence the name), in addition to a display with a hole-punch cut-out, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB-C charging port.

At the moment, there’s been no confirmation from Motorola regarding pricing and availability, so Moto fans after a new stylus-equipped smartphone will have to wait a bit. While the Moto G stylus series phones come with built-in pens, the phones aren’t directly meant to compete with the Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra, which features more high-end hardware and functionality. Nevertheless, the G Stylus series devices are a nice alternative for stylus-equipped Android phones.

In recent Motorola news, the company showcased a new concept device which features a rollable display, as well as a new smartphone with satellite-communication capabilities. both devices were shown during MWC 2023, which took place in Barcelona in February.
