Foldable phones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 have a crease in the middle. This is to be expected since the display is foldable, but according to the rumors, Samsung is said to be working on decreasing the visibility of the crease.
Now thanks to leaked images shared on Twitter by Ice Universe, we have an idea of how that crease could look like. In the photo below, it shows the crease of the Fold 3 on the left and the Fold 4 on the right, and it is very different from each other. While the crease on the Fold 4 is still there, compared to the Fold 3, it is considerably less obvious.

We’re not sure how it will look like in real life because to be fair, the crease in the Fold 3 and Flip 3 aren’t too bad, especially if you have images on the screen where it stops being so obvious. Ideally there wouldn’t be any crease, but we suppose this is still one of the limitations of today’s foldable display technology.
According to the rumors, the Fold 4 and Flip 4 are both expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 that was announced not too long ago. Both phones are also rumored to be announced at an event in August, which is the same time Samsung unveiled the Fold 3 and Flip 3 back in 2021.
