By The DroidLanding twitter account may have died down following their national scavenger hunt campaign that had many scrambling about for a free Motorola Droid X, but the account has finally tweeted again. We know they’ve refocused the account for the R2D2 Edition of the Motorola Droid 2, but we still don’t know their exact plans for it.
The bio on the account reads:
The Droid R2-D2 schematics are scattered across the web. Standby for clues from Artoo. Join the search.
The latest tweet links to this sound byte which sounds a lot like our robot friend from the Star Wars movies and uses the hashtag #AttackPatternAlpha. From the sounds of it, we could have another DROID search on our hands! We’ll keep our eyes on the account for further developments.

I added the sound of “What is thy bidding My master?” to my start up on the Samsung Vibrant. Got tired of the song that currently plays. And I think it is most fitting. :)
If it’s anything like the first X “search” or “hunt” I wouldn’t bother until the Official Rules are published. The first one was BS as they lead us to believe it was an actual hunt you used clues for, but they ended up just giving out coordinates and it was basically the closest/luckiest person in the area got it. FAIL!!!!
I was at Celebration V and got to see this. I gotta say great idea but horrible execution. The phone looks really cheap.

Gosh I want the droid 2 so bad I had the D1 but the insurence replaced it with the erris instead of the droid 2
