Samsung is expected to announce their next-gen flagship smartphone in the early part of 2020. The exact date is unknown, but we know that it will be in the early part of the year. Now thanks to a tweet by This Is Tech Today’s M. Brandon Lee, it appears that a leak has revealed a potential date.
According to Lee’s tweet, it seems that an unreleased promo video for the event was accidentally uploaded to Samsung’s press video channel where it confirms that the upcoming event will be held on the 11th of February, 2020. This will be Samsung’s first Unpacked event for the year, and it appears to be taking place between CES and MWC 2020.
NEW LEAK: It looks like we found an unreleased promo for the Samsung Galaxy S20 to be announced at the Samsung Unpacked event on February 11, 2020.

The video doesn’t quite confirm what will be announced, but it is pretty obvious that it will be for the Galaxy S20 smartphone. For those unfamiliar, the Galaxy S20 is apparently what Samsung will be naming its 2020 flagship phone. The handset was previously referred to as the Galaxy S11, but a rumor suggested that Samsung will be rebranding it to the Galaxy S20 due to it being the year 2020.
If this video is to be believed, then we won’t have to wait too long to get all the official details, so be sure to check back with us next month for more updates.
