Truly wireless Bluetooth headphones are likely to take off in a big way in 2018, and Anker’s sub-brand Zolo is hoping to be one of the brands leading the charge. The company has already been offering the Zolo Liberty headphones, but those are somewhat limited in functionality and don’t have the world’s best battery life.
That brings us to the Zolo Liberty+ Bluetooth headphones, which will be arriving on Amazon later this month. These headphones feature Bluetooth 5.0 capabilities, along with built-in “Sound Isolation” to drown out the background noise when you’re listening to your favorite tunes.
As with other truly wireless headphones, the Zolo Liberty+ include a charging case which will provide you with an additional 48 hours of audio playback, on top of the 3.5 hours offered by the headphones alone. This is great for someone who always forgets to charge devices and doesn’t want to add something else to the list to charge at the end of the day.
The Liberty+ first got its start through Kickstarter, where Anker raised almost $3 million in funding. The headphones have been highly anticipated as they won’t break the bank at just $149.99 and also feature a new “simple pairing” functionality so that you won’t have to fumble around with menus and buttons.
After removing the Liberty+ from the charging case: 1. Push the button on the right earphone; 2. Select “Liberty+” on your mobile device Bluetooth screen. This streamlined approach makes the Liberty+ the easiest total wireless earphones to pair with both iOS and Android devices.
Anker doesn’t share the specific date that the Libery+ headphones will be available, but you can hit the button below to learn more. Let us know what you think about these headphones and if it’s likely that you’ll pick up a pair for yourself.
