The HTC U11 Life is likely a device that wouldn’t be your first choice when it comes to budget devices, but this device has been available unlocked and on T-Mobile for almost two months. At the end of November, HTC began rolling out the official Android Oreo update to owners of the unlocked U11 Life, but those on T-Mobile can now rejoice.

The official HTC Twitter account confirmed that Android 8.0 Oreo is rolling out to owners of the U11 Life on T-Mobile. While the T-Mobile support page for the U11 Life has not been updated yet, HTC warns that this is a “big update”, so you’ll need to be on Wi-Fi in order to download it.
