Count the LG G5 as another unlocked phone in the US receiving Nougat this week. After Samsung finally hooked their Galaxy S7 owners up with the goods, LG is doing the same.
The update is coming to the device over-the-air, too, so there’s no need to hook your phone up to your PC like Samsung users have had to do.
Be sure to check your settings menu to see if you can pull the update down. It’s probably a good idea to get on WiFi first and get a decent charge on your battery to ensure no issues spring up during the process.
