Verizon’s Google Pixel and Pixel XL prepped for Daydream View arrival

0

The Verizon Google Pixel and Pixel XL are getting some love in this week with new software updates rolling out for the two. This update brings fixes for several Bluetooth issues which have surfaced over time. Particularly, users were having issues with receiving message notifications over their vehicles’ Bluetooth audio system. Yay!

But even more juicy is a bump to the performance of the Daydream View which will soon be headed to doorsteps. That coupled with a new Google VR Services app surfacing at Google Play means that all Pixel handsets — Verizon or otherwise — should be ready to deliver the best VR experience you can ask for by the time the Daydream View arrives.

You’ll want to stay on the lookout for the update to hit your phone in the days to come. It’ll show itself as version NDE63X, and be sure to keep a nicely charged battery and maybe hop onto a WiFi signal before trying to pull it down.
