If you’ve been hanging on to your precious dollars in hopes of the unlocked Motorola Moto Z, then it seems that the time is almost here. Amazon UK has the sim-less Moto Z available for pre-order for about £610 (~$683). This price is a bit steep considering that potential buyers in the UK can already pre-order the device from Clove for just £495 (~$552).
It is possible that the version being listed on Amazon UK is the 64GB variant, compared to the 32GB option offered by Clove. But even then, that would still more expensive than what the 64GB Moto Z Droid is being offered at.
Clove has a blog post detailing that the Moto Z will be coming to the UK in early September, but we have heard nothing about a specific release date or pricing from Motorola/Lenovo directly. If you’re waiting to get your hands on this device, be sure to check out Phandroid’s full review of the Moto Z Droid and some tips & tricks to get started once it’s in your hands.
