If we were to put faith into the latest leak to hit Twitter, we’d believe that the photo you see above is of the upcoming Samsung Gear S3. That photo would suggest the device will come with a fluted watch bezel and a stainless steel link band.
But we’re not ready to believe that is the case. Although the source — Tizen Cafe — has proven to be reliable, their post on Twitter (which was largely in Korean) suggests the image shown is simply an estimate of its look. The round nature of the device is sure to be accurate, however we’re not sure its Rolex-esque design is.
That said, it does make us wonder if Samsung is readying a more premium looking option as standard instead of going their previous route of introducing a “Classic” model of the smartwatch. We’ll have to wait for more details to leak out or Samsung’s eventual announcement to know for sure.
