With the Nexus 6P officially making its way out of the Google Store and onto new store shelves like those at Best Buy, the world’s latest — and arguably best Android smartphone you can buy — today also marks the day the 6P is now officially available from Amazon.

While it’s true the phone was already available via 3rd party sellers, it’s only today Amazon is now stocking and selling the phone themselves with free Prime 2-day shipping. We should note, it appears only the 64GB models at $500 are available at present, but we’re guessing the others will arrive at some point in the near future.

Because of the busy holiday season and Christmas being only a few short days away, Amazon says the phone is in stock, but could take an extra 1-2 days to process (most Prime shipped items should arrive by Thursday if purchased today). Keep in mind that the Google Store, while sold out of the black/graphite model is offering free overnight shipping on Nexus orders until the 22nd.

If a new $500 smartphone still isn’t within your budget, we’d recommend picking up last year’s Nexus 6 at $250-$300. Any way you cut it, that’s a deal that’s hard to pass up.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.
