LG has announced that the LG Zero is heading out to more folks starting today. After Koreans got their chance to play with it, those in Taiwan and other parts of Asia, as well as key markets in Europe and Latin America.
The LG Zero is the company’s first all-metal phone. People have been split on its looks from the get-go. Some think it looks amazing, while others find it to be the ugliest phone to come out in recent months. No matter which side of the extreme you sit, it’s nice to know LG is at least starting to consider using metal in their phones, and this gives us hope to see it in one of their 2016 flagships.
The device isn’t a bad mid-range handset otherwise. Here’s what we have:
- Display: 5.0-inch HD In-cell Touch (1280 x 720, 294ppi)
- Chipset: 1.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
- Camera: Rear 13MP / Front 8MP
- Memory: 1.5GB LPDDR3 RAM / 16GB eMMC ROM / MicroSD
- Battery: 2,050mAh
- Operating System: Android 5.1 Lollipop

- Weight: 147g
- Network: LTE / HSPA+ / GSM
