LG has announced their next big tablet this morning. It’s the LG G Pad 2 10.1, and it brings with it 1080p resolution, 2GB of RAM and Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset.
That’s not terribly exciting for 2015 standards, though the LG G Pad line has never been about stuffing the most insane specs inside a device as possible. It’s about being affordable, yet capable, and we’re sure those internals are going a long way toward striking that balance.
Here’s a full spec sheet to show how the rest of the device pans out:
- Processor: 2.26GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 800 Processor
- Display: 10.1-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200 / 224 ppi)
- Operating System: Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

Unfortunately, LG doesn’t yet have specific pricing or availability information to give us, though considering it’ll be one of their premier devices on display at IFA Berlin in a couple of weeks we’re sure we’ll hear more by then.
