It looks like Verizon’s getting pretty serious about (RED), an AIDS awareness brand that uses the color red as an iconic symbol of folks whose blood systems are infected with the disease. The company has revealed an all new (RED) LG G3, using a “Blaze Red” finish compared to the standard black and white options that originally launched.
Things are similar under the hood compared to the original LG G3 (our review of which rests right here). Whereas Verizon will sometimes opt to use a re-release as a reason to increase or decrease storage, this particular model comes in your standard 32GB so it’s a safe bet that the model made available months ago won’t have reason to be jealous.
Want one? Verizon’s celebrating its release with a $0 price tag for Cyber Monday, though that will only be true if you opt to sign a two-year contract. It’s still $24.99 per month on Edge or $599.99 outright if you plan to go those routes. Be sure to check it out at Verizon’s site here and let us know if you’ll be looking to add one to your inventory.
My Uncle was set to buy the Galaxy S5 on Amazon for a $1 but they upped the price of the Verizon model to $50 on Cyber Monday so he went to the Verizon store and got himself the G3 for free. For some people buying a new smartphone a $50 price difference can make up their decision. Can’t believe I’m saying this but good job Verizon for not being greedy for a change!
Still sucks that Amazon decided to change the price. LG G3 is not a bad alternative. It’s less problematic than the S5 was for me. The G3 will take some adjusting to get used to, but I am sure he will like it.
Verizon is the devil with a shinny new G3 and wanting people to just sign the dotted line.
RUN AWAY! LG — Lousy Gadget.
And you can get a gpad for free too. Went to the store and ordered the g3 and walked out with a g pad for nothing.
