While US residents were able to enjoy a brief moment of exclusivity when Google launched their recently revised Nexus 7 in the Play Store almost a month ago, it seems that will soon change. According to Pocket-Lint who’s received word directly from ASUS, the Nexus will hit the UK on August 28th. Just like in the US, you can expect to find the 7-inch tablet not only in the Google Play Store, but everywhere else fine tablets are sold.
For those that really don’t want to miss out, the 2nd-gen Nexus 7 will actually be available the moment the clock strikes midnight on the 28th, so plan on staying up late if you want to be one of the first kids on the block with Google’s latest (well-spec’d) “budget” tab. While pricing hasn’t been confirmed, our friends in the UK can most likely expect the new Nexus 7 (WiFi-only) to be priced at £200 for the 16GB model, and £240 for the 32GB version.
