Nothing Confirms the CMF Phone’s Existence

0

It looks like the rumors were true – following reports that Nothing was launching a new smartphone under its budget-friendly CMF sub-brand, the company itself took to social media to confirm that it was launching its first-ever CMF smartphone. The post states:

Introducing CMF Phone 1. Wonderful by design. Leveraging Nothing‘s innovation and meticulous attention to design, it serves as a wonderful entry point to our entire product ecosystem. As others overlook this category, we’re giving it our full attention. Coming soon.

With that being said however, no other details were given by the company, other than a cropped image of what is presumably the special modular mechanism that’s predicted to come with the CMF phone.

A recent Tweet lists some specs for the device, which will supposedly include a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor, 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and either 128GB or 256GB of expandable storage. The phone is also rumored to feature a dual camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and will run on a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

It’s also expected that the phone will be priced starting at $249 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option, and is expected to launch in mid-July.
