Like a bad plumbing job, countless leaks surrounding the upcoming Pixel 8a are all over the place, and it doesn’t look like they’ll be plugged up anytime soon. More recently, a leaked promo video showing off the Pixel 8a was shared online via MySmartPrice and tech informant @OnLeaks.

The video is authentic enough as it seems, and shows off a lot of the same AI-powered features that Google has brought to its phones in the past few months. Additionally, it shows a bit of hands-on action with the Pixel 8a, which includes a design that features matte plastic and large bezels (as seen in the screenshots below).
Not too long ago, a full set of photos showing the Pixel 8a color selection was shared online, although the phone has appeared in numerous leaks over the past months. In terms of hardware, it’s expected that the phone will feature a 6.1-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Google’s Tensor G3 chipset, and a similar camera setup to the Pixel 7a.
The Pixel 8a has been subject to numerous leaks over the past few months, with the most recent being the entire specs sheet behind the phone – this includes the speculated 120Hz refresh rate, an option for a larger 256GB storage variant, as well as the same camera setup found on the Pixel 7a.
It’s very likely that Google might announce the Pixel 8a during this year’s I/O Conference, which is when the company usually unveils its upcoming software and hardware products and features.
