Honor recently announced the launch of the newest addition to its Android handset lineup, the Honor 90 Smart. Priced at around $250, the phone comes with a set of features which clearly indicate that it’s meant to take on competitors in the midrange phone segment.
The phone comes with a large 6.8-inch FHD+ display, and is available in either green or black color variants. Given that the screen borders on 7 inches, one can say that the Honor 90 Smart almost crosses over into mini tablet territory.
The phone’s overall design borrows a lot from previous Honor handsets as well, especially with the large camera modules on the rear panel – these house the main camera setup which packs a 108 MP camera (f/1.75), 2MP Macro Camera (F2.4), and 2MP Depth Camera (F2.4). In front there’s an 8MP selfie camera for video calls and photos.
Inside, the phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset, which is aided by 4GB of RAM alongside 128GB of internal storage – Honor says that there is a RAM Boost feature that can increase the phone’s overall memory up to 8GB. Meanwhile, this entire setup is powered by a rather large 5,330 mAh battery, which should be more than enough to last most users the entire day.
