Nubia Flip pre-orders go global!

0

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series sells better than its larger Fold sibling. One of the main reasons for this is price. The Galaxy Z Flip is much cheaper in comparison. But if you’re looking for an even more affordable foldable, the Nubia Flip could be a phone you’ll want to check out, especially with global pre-orders now open.

The Nubia Flip was originally announced at MWC 2024. Pre-orders for China went live the other day, but now it looks like non-China customers will be able to order the handset for themselves as well. This includes markets such as Australia, Chile, Egypt, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Israel, Kuwait, Laos, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States, and Vietnam.

The handset is priced starting at $499 for the base 8GB RAM and 256GB memory option. You can opt for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model for $699. Both of which are still pretty insanely cheap for a foldable. However, it should be noted that for the price, you won’t be getting flagship level hardware.

The Nubia Flip features a 6.9-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset can be found. It is accompanied by a 4,310mAh battery and a 50MP main camera. It’s definitely not the most impressive foldable we’ve seen. But considering its price, it’s actually a pretty awesome deal as far as foldables are concerned.
