When Samsung announced its Galaxy S24 series, the company introduced a slight design change to the phone. It featured flatter edges and a flatter screen, giving the phone a more sleek and sharp look. Now it looks like the company could apply the same design language to the Galaxy Z Fold 6, thanks to these leaked renders.
The renders come courtesy of @OnLeaks in collaboration with SmartPrix. Unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, the Fold 6 has also opted for flatter edges and corners. We have to say that we’re really digging this new look, assuming it’s true. It’s not a huge departure from the previous design, but it’s noticeable enough where you can tell the difference.
Also, the external display does appear to be slightly wider. The problem with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is that its external display was too tall and narrow. This created a weird user experience. We did hear rumors that Samsung could finally address that in the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and these leaked renders confirms it.
Apart from that, the rest of the phone looks similar in terms of its microphone placements and USB-C port. The speaker grills did get a slight change where it looks similar to the Galaxy S24. Take these leaked renders with a grain of salt for now, but the new foldables could be announced this July.
