Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked could take place in July

0

Samsung recently showed off its Galaxy Ring at MWC 2024. The company stopped short of mentioning when it will officially launch, but we have heard rumors that it could be announced at the company’s next Galaxy Unpacked event. This has since been “confirmed” by X user @TheGalox_.

According to the post, Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in July. The event will see Samsung launch several new devices. This includes the Galaxy Ring, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, a new Galaxy Buds, and also a new Galaxy Watch smartwatch. None of this is confirmed, but it’s not a stretch of the imagination.

In 2023, Samsung launched their Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 smartphones around July. This means that it is possible that Samsung could stick to the same schedule this year. We have to admit that we are pretty excited at seeing how much the Galaxy Ring will cost and what kind of features it will come with.

Samsung had previously stated that its smart ring can be used as a standalone tracker. It can also be paired with the Galaxy Watch for better quality data collection. Samsung also confirmed the battery life of the wearable where it will last up to 9 days. While it lasts longer than the Galaxy Watch, it is shorter compared to other smartwatches which is a bit disappointing.
