Pokemon GO Event Announced Alongside New Anime Debut

Today’s Pokemon Presents event was nothing short of exciting, and to coincide with the premiere of the new Pokemon Horizons Anime, the Pokemon Company and the team behind Pokemon GO have announced a new in-game event for the hit mobile game.

Dubbed “Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event,” the in-game special will feature the debut of Charcadet, Armarouge and Ceruledge, in addition to a costumed Pokemon appearance. The event is scheduled to go live on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. up until Monday, March 11, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. As per the game’s official update page:

“In celebration of the release of the new Pokémon animated series Pokémon Horizons: The Series in various countries and regions, Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat is coming to Pokémon GO!* Pokémon and human characters from the animated series will also appear in Pokémon GO.”

Additionally, the Ultra Legend Box will be available on the web store for $14.99. This bundle features three Remote Raid Passes, ten Premium Battle Passes, and ten Incubators. Players can check out more details on the game’s official website (linked below).
